Yet another movie has been set to hit the big screen nationwide. The 'gals-all-time-favorite' series seen on TV now is set once again to be seen in your favorite movie house.
$€x and th€ city.

After a long day at work, my co-workers and I decided to catch a movie not knowing which one is best to see. Since majority were girls, they insisted of going by the movie SEX AND THE CITY. (yeah at first it was not the movie I really wanted, but just because of a free popcorn, I was swayed and decided to come..what a loser)

The movie was great but not brilliant. This was the first time that I had a glimpse of what really was with this TV series. I somehow enjoyed the movie. Luckily. And it's just your one of a kind feel good movie with everything in it.

FOR LADIES:If you wanna have fun, or at least forget about your deadline for a while, go grab your girlfriends out and go to your favorite movie house. FOR MEN:Guys, I bet it won't catch your interest unless your girlfriends told you so.

Cook reigns the IDOL!

I am not a fan of COOK neither a supporter, I just think that he's good at some of the pieces he have chosen and I never had a doubt that he can win the title. Well, I like Archuleta better, talking about voice, he's way better for me than cook.

Considering the fact that Archuleta is only 16 yrs old, I think he has a long way to go and this is not the time for him yet, probably soon. Cook's had his great performances also, my favorite song was his rendition of ''I don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith. It was totally awesome.

Well, votes have been casted and we have a winner. No more argument. Just a HUGE congratulations to DAVID COOK!

Did I already tell you I am still skeptical? (More about myself)

No, I am not trying to make a career out of blogging. I do not even know if I have the bandwidth to regularly update and post new entries here. It is just that, I am the kind of person who is eagerly and desperately seeking new stuff to try out. No, my life is not boring. I am actually juggling so many things that not too many 21-year old lad can manage with their sanity still intact. I am a student, a tax payer (figure that out!), a dreamer, a bum, an eye-candy (ehem!), a mystery and everything in between. Let us just say that my life, goals and aspirations are a bit hazy at this point. Yes, you got it right! In spite of everything, I am still skeptical.

But I can share hearty laughs, endless conversations, candid photo-ops (did I say I am an eye-candy?), weird cravings and silly indecisiveness not to everyone but to a selected few individuals who can capture my not so susceptible nature. No I am not a snob. That is a false impression. I am just reserved, which, is understandable for someone who was raised in the most traditional manner you can ever think of.

I am a gadgets freak, a health buff, and a Buble, Naruto and Smallville fanatic. Catching a glimpse of nature with its unadulterated beauty sends my senses to a state of nirvana that is incomparable and inexplicable. It’s just pure bliss. Yeah sure! I would rather be alone with nature than mingle with the its-good-to-be-seen-with-them crowd.

And I guess this blog is the biggest paradox of my self-description. See, I find pleasure in being independent and withdrawn and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself writing about personal thoughts, feelings and day to day adventures and have them published so that everyone can read them.

I thought I wanted to keep a low-profile? Well…. Did I already tell you I am still skeptical?

Paint your own music!

If you are this type of person who has peculiar ears for unblemished sound of music, you'll definitely gonna like this one. The Sony's very own, Sound Forge 9.0. This product was released in the market in April 2007.

As a very-not-professional-but-fond-of-music-manipulation person, I have had a bit of experiences with softwares such as this. I edit, analyze, drill down to the sample level, in high-fidelity 24-bit and 32-bit/64-bit float 192 kHz quality and even remove the voice of the singer (if you feel like you're way better) and just leave the tune and the melody itself in tact.

This thing is so powerful that it is being used in small and medium recording studios. I have used the version 7 of this but the newest version can offer the user so much flexibility, efficiency and convenience on working with the software. Many features have been added like the Noise Reduction technology, some professional audio plug-ins(to be specific: Mastering Reverb, Multiband-Band Compressor, IRC Limiter loudness maximizer, and Analog EQ parametric equalizer) and other stuffs I am not very much familiar anymore due to its complexity.

Most of the features, tools and effects were enhanced giving you this DRAG and DROP power minimizing your working time but doubles your productivity ratio.

You can also do some video editing here same as adobe premier but, common! it defeats the purpose of its name if you're just gonna use this amazing tool to just edit your video during Christmas at your grandma's house, you, opening your gift and sobbing with tears because you got a pair of sneakers. (urgh..grow up!)

For me, it's a fun way to play with sounds and music, I can say.

From talking to drinking!

After a very long and exhausting day at work, I finally get to have a taste of alcohol again (prior to this, I had my drink last new year..well, I stand to my preference to just be an occasional drinker). The feeling was refreshing and stimulating giving me the chance to showcase my ‘talent’ on injecting humor effectively in the conversation making everybody laugh until they roll down on the floor and eventually, die (making me a very efficient innocent-looking killer! At least they died in their happiest state in life Hahaha).

We all had a great time together with unlimited booze and smoke all over the place. A little bit of this and that wasn’t really bad since all we’re after was to have some fun. Wholesome fun (if only they’ve permitted me, I would’ve done things more pleasurable to the senses! Nyahaha! Maybe a game where loser strips?!)

Scream your last breath

This is the last day of my long pre and post weekend. I'm out of the office for four days now since Friday and I am really getting bored so I decided to watch a movie I downloaded from torrent last night. I have read the review about this movie entitled "The Descent" starring SHAUNA MACDONALD and NATALIE JACKSON MENDOZA (well, basically there were six of them, I only find these two the toughest among the group) directed by NEIL MARSHALL, on the Internet and it pretty much caught my attention. I am not a big fan of horror movies but I find happiness watching such especially if I'm with some friends. Seeing their reaction is really a spectacular view you could only get to see during that point of total shock and adrenaline rush making their faces look like a comic book characters. Haha enough for the mocking part.

Going back to the topic, so as I've mentioned, due to the fact that the review was good enough gave me this thinking of "watching this movie surely is worth my time!" which I know is not the basic principle on criticizing a movie (not a movie critic myself, but we all are...in our own ways) or knowing if the movie is or not worthy, again, it is all dependent to your taste of genre. And so i started setting up my laptop, grabbing my laptop tray, putting my laptop cooler on top of the tray so my laptop will sit comfortably on top of it and plugging in the incredibly tiny speakers with its incredible power to amplify sound, like around 10 decibels? (just kidding).

The movie started with the characters going on a wild river rafting which was totally cool, catching the interest of the viewers and intriguing scenes followed. I think most of the characters were British, you'll notice it with their strong accent. The movie is not your regular dose of horror film giving you goosebumps and scarring you til the sun goes down, it's some sort of a horror film with a twist of tomb raider adventure which I find awesome so to speak.

Characters here know how to fight back to those man-like creatures lurking in the dark with sharp claws and if I may compare it to a character I've seen before (SPOILER), it would've been 'GOLEM' in the film, LOTR. (you know this definitely, no need to emphasize). Skin type is the same, no hair, (well, I guess there were few but not totally visible), teeth, the same, ears were like dwarfs', they can climb rough walls (since the setting was inside the cave) efficiently and with great flexibility however the only difference is that, they're as tall as humans.

Nonetheless, it was pretty effective though using a type of specie perfectly fit and has evolved to live inside the cave as predators. They're like bats that can't see but has perfectly sharp hearing that can detect movements and sound. (if I only knew the abilities of these creatures, I would've warned the characters to bring super mega fon so these creatures can go out from their den and to some ENT specialist with their eardrums hangin' out and them bleeding to death! YEAH!!)

The part that I didn't really like was when:
"Juno (Natalie) accidentally hears something coming up behind her and swings the pick-axe. It is actually Beth (Alex Reid) and Juno has stabbed her through the throat. Grabbing Juno's bracelet, Beth collapses in a pool of her own blood and pleads with Juno to help her. A shocked Juno backs away into one of the tunnels, leaving Beth to die."1 (well obviously, it was due to the fact that she was so scared and with all the emotion she's feeling after fighting with a monster would excuse her from setting a high ground around her making her aggressive and just following her instinct, just so happen that Beth was stupid enough to not call Juno's name before approaching her. Can't argue with this anymore! Its the script's decision to kill Beth, then so be it!) And then on the latter part where Sarah and Juno was alone after fighting with the creatures, "Juno is stabbed through the leg by Sarah's pick-axe. Just as Juno left Beth to die, Sarah leaves Juno to die. As she runs off, Sarah hears the sounds of the creatures descending onto Juno and Juno screaming."1 (revenge of beth through Sarah! wicked!)

All in all, this movie is a great film to see and I highly recommend this piece of art to be played in your dvd or if you just wanna get a copy of it for free, try finding the torrent file of this movie and you can download it over night, faster maybe if you have good connection. Go grab a popcorn and scream your last breath out!

1 excerpt from the movie's synopsis (just tired of typing it down so i copied it, it's the same thing that I would've written anyway) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/synopsis

9:23 PM MNLA

I have never imagined myself creating my own 'virtual-space-of-my-unspoken-thoughts-in-mind' or whatever you wanna call it. My name is Raymund and I know people whose life, of course besides work, revolves on surfing the Internet and creates things such as this and I am clueless why in the world would you waste time putting up something when all you wanna do is vent out your emotions, ideas, opinions and some stuffs that is almost equivalent to the word FRIEND....? Any idea?

I mean, people live by making friends every day, interacting with people every day and extending their network as far as they can and SOCIALIZING is the biggest part (apart from making love, tested & proven by professionals) of human interaction to its kind if you're gonna ask me. Therefore, it wouldn't be that hard I reckon to shoot a text to your friend's inbox on his or her cellphone, ask 'em to go out with you and talk over the phone or better yet, if you wanna talk it over personally, a hot cup of tea (that is for me!) or coffee whatever you find appealing in your taste buds would be the best way to go.

But a sudden realization struck me one day when I was at work, having a good conversation with a co-worker, we were talking about something that I have forgotten already (forgive me), and he mentioned about his wife doing some Internet stuff known nowadays as 'BLOG'. Of course I have heard of that, many times even way back in college (I just don't find it interesting that's all). He said that his wife has been making a small fortune out of that, well talking about fortune, nobody wants to become poor unless you're this person who is so amazed by life and doesn't wanna eat meat or other living things (hey, no offense meant to anyone out there).

Well, I pretty much enjoy reading articles on the web, reading posts and comments on forums and I find it helpful in some ways. Especially if you're having a hard time figuring out a program you're installing that doesn't work.

So, patches in my mind started falling into its respective places and giving me this realization that the basic reason why BLOG was invented is solely for the purpose of being heard and getting opinion from other people who either have more knowledge than you do or just sharing the same ideas they have in mind. No rules, no boundaries. Just wanna be care free.

If that's the case, I think that it wouldn't hurt if I give this one a try and who knows, might turned out to be the world I thought I would never have.

Now, at exactly 9:23 PM MNLA,
I am letting it all out, saying whatever I think and wanna say. Besides, it's gonna be my own space anyway.
